How we assisted a client in purchasing a villa in Spain

Pre-selection of offers: A client from Warsaw, an avid golfer, dreamed of a holiday home in Andalusia. The Vilea agent prepared a shortlist of 12 properties on the Costa del Sol. The client narrowed the list down to 6 offers of houses with her preferred architecture, located in the areas she was most interested in.

On-site viewing: We organised a reconnaissance trip, during which an agent with extensive knowledge of the Costa del Sol presented all 6 offers. The client chose a modern villa in Sotogrande, located right next to a prestigious golf course, overlooking the fairway.

Preparation of the transaction: Our trusted solicitor helped prepare the documentation, checked the sales contract and made comments. We helped set up an account with a local bank, organised a NIE number for the client, and a mortgage adviser helped obtain a mortgage from a Spanish bank.

Transaction: The contract was signed at a notary's office in the presence of a solicitor and agents from both sides.

Handover of the property: Within 3 months, the client received the keys to her dream home.
